Infrared heating

Infrared heating gives direct, targeted warmth for homes and commercial spaces. Panels from Ecaros, Welltherm or Alkari in your interior, or industrial heaters for halls, workshops and terraces.

Smart heating with direct radiant warmth

Tailored warmth for homes and businesses

In homes, infrared heating gives direct, comfortable warmth with little air movement. The panels mainly heat people and surfaces. Suitable for living rooms, bathrooms and home offices you want to heat in a targeted way.

For businesses, panels and industrial heaters are suitable in large or partly open spaces. You only heat the zones that are in use, such as in halls, workshops, warehouses and hospitality venues.

Targeted warmth

Infrared panels mainly heat people and objects, and less the air. As a result there is little air movement carrying dust around. Suitable for places you want to heat in a targeted way.

For homes and business applications

From compact panels for bathrooms and home offices to industrial heaters for halls, terraces and workshops. You always choose a solution that suits your space and the heat pattern you want.

Silent and low-maintenance

No moving parts and silent operation.

How to use infrared panels

When does infrared heating work in your home?

Uses at home

Infrared works well above workplaces, dining tables and seating areas. For bathrooms there are mirror panels, towel warmers and compact heating solutions; a heated mirror panel steams up less quickly.

Power supply and output

A safe installation needs a suitable power point. Sometimes we add an extra circuit in the consumer unit. Depending on the room we use panels from 400 to 1250 watts for a targeted heat pattern.

Placement and fitting

With different wall and ceiling mountings we can place infrared panels in most places, including homes with high ceilings or unusual layouts.

Comfort without draughts

Many people find radiant heat pleasant. Because there is little air movement, the air stays calm.

The benefits of infrared heating

Targeted warmth

Infrared panels mainly heat you and the surfaces around you, and less the air. This way you heat the spot where you are.

Targeted heating

You only heat the zones you use. That suits rooms such as a home office, seating area or bathroom.

Calm air

Because no fan is needed, the air stays calmer. Many people find radiant heat pleasant.

Sleek design, flexible to use

The panels are thin, silent and low-maintenance. Whether you place them on the ceiling, on the wall or as a mirror panel in the bathroom, they fit in most rooms.

How it looks at our customers' homes

Zone heating for businesses

Direct warmth above workspaces

In commercial spaces where heating the whole space uses an unnecessary amount of energy, infrared is a good option. Industrial heaters do not heat the full air volume of a warehouse or hall, but the zones where people work. That makes infrared suitable for warehouses, production areas, workshops and distribution halls. The photo on the left shows an installation in a sorting warehouse, where only the workstations need to be heated.

Infrared also works well in offices: above desks, meeting tables and flexible workspaces a panel or heater gives direct warmth.

For hospitality infrared works as a patio heater. The radiation is not blown away by the wind, although wind and outdoor temperature still determine how warm it feels. The systems are low-maintenance.

How quickly can you install infrared panels?

We always aim to install within 2 to 3 weeks; it depends on the installation. We work with brands such as Ecaros, Welltherm and Alkari.

Yes. We can often connect infrared panels directly to existing power points. If more power is needed, we add an extra circuit in the consumer unit. We discuss this beforehand.

Usually, yes. You can add extra panels later, extend zones or link up with smart thermostats or home automation. What is possible depends on the capacity in your fuse box and the brand. Commercial installations in halls, workshops and offices can be extended too.

That depends on your home. Infrared heating is suitable as supplementary heating for specific spots or rooms, such as a bathroom, home workspace or utility room. As main heating for your whole home it depends on the insulation and the output needed; power consumption can run high. We advise what makes sense in your situation.

Often it is still possible. We have various wall and ceiling mountings to place panels safely, even in high rooms, on concrete ceilings or above workspaces. For bathrooms there are special mirror panels and towel warmers.

On our installation work we give a 12-month warranty. On the panels, the manufacturer's warranty of the brand also applies; the term differs per brand and product. Your statutory rights remain in place.

Yes, provided the panel and the mounting suit the room; we check that during installation. Infrared panels give radiant heat, without UV radiation. There is no fan, so little air movement.

We mount infrared panels on the wall or ceiling, depending on your room. For a neat, sturdy mounting we often use an InfraredFix mounting system. Looking for a floor solution as an alternative or addition? Then also have a look at electric underfloor heating.
